We are thrilled to host our first ever Gala on April 27th. Entitled "Gala Light", this special event will demonstrate our commitment to Illuminate & Elevate our Next Generation Scholars (NGS) community.
At the event, we invite you to learn more about the impact our work makes, especially with our Family Services Program. Because here at NGS, our unique approach is centered around our dedication to uplift both Scholars and their families, knowing that family wellness is critical to student success.
An example of how we serve families is demonstrated by the workshops we provide to NGS parents on topics such as computer literacy, child development, and legal services. Though education, parents can learn how to best create a supportive environment for their college-bound students at home. In 2024, we are proud to have served 575 family members through our workshops.
Join us on April 27th to learn more about the impact we make to set up our Scholars and their families for bigger and brighter futures.
