As we look toward 2025, we are inspired by Scholars like Israel—a young leader turning challenges into opportunities.

Israel joined us during the pandemic as a 6th grader in a fully virtual summer academy. Even then, his maturity and determination stood out. Now a 10th grader, he is channeling that same drive into his Community Uplift Project, which aims to positively address the homelessness challenges in San Rafael, right here in Marin County.

At NGS, the Community Uplift Project program is a cornerstone of our program. Beginning in 8th grade, Scholars dedicate over 220 hours to creating real-world change, building a sense of confidence, purpose, and compassion along the way.

Israel’s journey reminds us why we do this work—and why your support matters. Together, we can empower more Scholars to learn, heal, and uplift their communities.

Will you help us cross the finish line? This is the final call to help us reach our fundraising goal!

Thank you for believing in the power of the Next Generation.
