On Friday, May 13th, the 15th annual Kickball Showdown took place at Piper Park in Larkspur. This fundraising event is an annual healthy competition between all industries working in Marin’s real estate sector. Since 2017, Next Generation Scholars has been fortunate to be named the beneficiary of this event, which, thanks to a matching donor, raised over $40,000 this year.
Since this unique event’s inception with the goal of fundraising on behalf of Marin’s under-resourced youth, the committee has raised over $200,000. Marin is fortunate to have this caring and fun-loving group supporting our Scholars, and NGS is grateful to have the opportunity to partner with them. A special shout-out to Scott Gerber, our Kickball Champion and the brainchild of this event, along with Seagate Properties, Marin Living, and all of the generous sponsors noted below, who made this a fun and successful event.
